— BUFFALO, NY: December 9, 2009 – Increased funding is making it possible for 10 to 12 schools to be able to participate in The Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo’s Environmental Youth Summit in 2010. Scheduled for March 26-27, 2010, the event will be held at Rich Products’ Corporate Headquarters in Buffalo. The Summit is a two-day event open to high schools in Western New York that offers a planning space for 10 to 12 teams of 5 to 8 students to develop and implement action plans to address an environmental problem in their community. Professional facilitators from the International Center for Studies in Creativity provide direct support to the teams for the two-day period.
